Preventing a suicide??

If you encountered someone with a gun to his head, how would you convince him not to pull the trigger? What do you do in a situation like this?? (Note: this is purely hypothetical; I have not been in this situation, thank goodness!)

i defnetly would convince him that living here is more beautiful than killing yourself...i will convince him the importance of the life that has been gifted by the god for us..no matter what hardships we are getting,we do not have the right to take the life given by the almighty

I agree completely. God gave us the gift of life, and the least we could do is accept His judgement on when it should end. That may be a bitter pill to swallow when His timing is not the same as ours, but He is far wiser than we could ever hope to be.
