Usually a quiet environment works best, albeit extremely boring sometimes. If you are like me, (which I have to have something going on in the background) then playing some soft music in the background as a sort of “atmosphere noise” can also work - as long as it is soft, and not to the point where you are singing along instead of focusing. Also, it is said that it is better to study like a half an hour to a hour before you sleep, as once you study and immediately fall asleep, that will be the last thing on your mind, and therefore you will better be able to retain it the next day. Works for me, hope it does for you. Good luck.

Get up early in the morning when your head has nothing yet for the day. Get your lessons and exams to review to put on your head, review seriously for that examintaion, Im sure your mind will absorb what you studied because you are still fresh from the days work and minding things.

I attend lectures and really pay attention to the instructor. I dont take notes coz it will divert my attention and I might miss the lesson. In that way I only study around 6 hours before an exam coz I fully grasped the idea during the lecture sessions

well it is so easy I suggest you that what ever you learn you have to do that write and read it 10 times and learn it then when you learn I hope you will never ever forget it and I always do that when I need to learn something…
