There was an earthquake that rocked the same spot in Indonesia last tuesday, Dec 26; exactly on the anniversary of the devastationg tsunami that claimed innumerable lives last year.
There was also a Tsunami warning just after the quake, but luckily nothing happened this year.
Was this just a warning to us?
Isn't there a way to check the earthquakes?
Isn't there a way to escape the havoc of earthquake & tsunamis?
Can we do something to reduce the impact of earthquake?
Please add your concerns too when you reply, let us explore this natural powerhouse ourselves.

I heard 2007 will witness more sunamis and earthquake's. This is all illeffects of the technology. Ozone layer is badly getting effected day by day. This layer protects the atmosphere on earth from the radiation. For all these disasters, we are only the reason. The testing of nuclear bombs etc, will disturb the earth's core and leads to earthquakes. We can avoid all these things, if we act within the limits of nature rules and limitations. The moment we want to go against the nature's rules or we want to win the nature with artificial means, then we have to face all these music. Anyhow, welcome to mylot and goodluck.
