Are biological mothers who give up their children loving or selfish?

It will depend on the situation...why did she give up her child. If it is because she feels she can't afford to give the child a good life and someone else would give the child a better life, then I would say it is a selfless act. But if she was irresponsible and the baby is the result of her making the wrong choice and she feels she doesn't want the baby after all that...then I think it is a selfish act.

it will depend on why she have to give her child up....if she knows that she couldnt afford to bring up the child in a nice environment, provide good education to the child and to provide a bright future, i will say that it's a selfless act.
