Dreams can be related to the day's activities. I remember as a kid spending a whole day playing in the leaves and I dreamed about leaves all night.
They can also be a way for your subconscious to work through problems of the present or the past - so says my psychiatrist. I was having dreams about my husband with other women. I believe it was because I was insecure. He was quite a womanizer before he settled down with me.
Dreams can also be messages from God or loved ones who have passed over. My father has come to me in a lot of my dreams with messages. Some are easier to decipher than others.

dream occurs when we are not in sound sleep. It is some kind of disturbance in our mind. For perfect sleep, the better cooperation beteeen our body and mind is necessary. Dream is depend upon our day time activities that may be good or bad.
If there is good mind then there will be good sleep.
Anyhow, I give some hints to avoid at least bad dream.
When you are in sudden awakening due to bad dream, you take a cup of drinking water. Then the dream will not continue. Try it.

It's related to our daily activities, it often reflects our hopes and fears, in a way it kind of let the steam out and ease our minds, all people dream but some say they don't because they can't remember their dreams. In a way it keeps our psychological balance and that's why analyzing ones dream is a big part in psychological treatment.

I tend to think of dreams as your mind revisitng parts of your day as it relaxes. Hence you will often dream recent memories, but distorted and extended. I don't think dreams have any power in themselves, the dream comes from you. (I would regard 'visions' in a different light)
Sometimes your dreams 'surprise' you by treating a subject in a way you didn't anticipate, but this only ever happened to me once, so I believe I am largely in control of my dreams (semi-subconciously). I am given to day-dreaming also, so I think my brain gets good excercise in this area!

Yes, demons are as real as angels or God. I have dreams about demons telling me they were going to stop me. But I always rebuke them in the name of Jesus and I plead the blood of Jesus down over me. One dream specifically comes to mind, when I went to hell and the devil talk to me and said tell your preacher I will stop them. The devil said,"I don't want you to use the atonement on me." I had the Bible in my hands in the dream and I told the devil that I didn't fear him and that I stood on God's Word. In the dream the devil made me look at his workers (demons) and said, "If you people could see my workers there would not be standing room for you." High in my mind I saw a vision and I was bent at the waist with my legs laying under me and my face touching the floor. And I saw every inch of space above me cramped with demons. But I still stand on God's Word. And I know that "perfect love cast out fear." I'm not afraid of Satan. He is only used like a puppet to help perfect me for the Kingdom. When I woke up I started pleading the atonement (blood) of Jesus down over me. God bless you! You will remain in my prayers.
