there is one in our local pet shop and it shouts at everyone who comes in , wolfwhistles and will bite half your finger off if you try to touch it. there was a guy wsashing windows in the building beside the petshop and the bird wolf whistled after everyone going by , the window cleaner got the blame for them all and was quite embarrassed . i like parrots , theyre a smart bird.

Yes most are really pretty and some are very clever doing tricks. would love to see them in the wild

I really like them a lot. They are really beautiful birds to keep as pets. I had one which was unfortunately and tragically killed by our neighbours cat.

We had one guavava tree in our house and parrots use to come to eat guavavas and we were always excited to see them.

My husband had a parrot when we first married. His name was Rascal. He could say a few things. I was home alone one day just after we married and I heard a very low voice say, "I love you." I was really shocked, and as I looked out into the hallway, I saw Rascal walking by. From that day on, I really liked that bird. A few months later my husband took him out into the yard, not realizing that his clipped wings had grown out. He flew away and never returned. My husband was so very heartbroken. He searched the neighborhood for weeks trying to find him, to no avail.

I like parrots, I have a blue and gold Macaw that is sitting next to me screaming out, out because she is not happy on her playstand next to me. She wants to be held and that makes it almost impossible to type...lol. Her name is Lucy, she is 12 yrs old, she talks alot..and yells alot...She also enjoys teasing my Chihuahua Gizmo.
