is digicam better or normal?

I too have a video camera which uses a small casette. It has its own good points. But with the whole world going digital, we are unable to keep up with the rest using outdated technology. Digi cams are improving day by day. You also have the ability to download it to a computer and transfer it to a CD or DVD. Then the editing capabilities are also there. I thiink that when the mega pixels increase the quality of the picture also increases.
