A good mother

A good mom is one that can be strict on me about morals and values. She could be the best cheerleader in my life but also be my best critic as criticism only makes us stronger and more wise. She would teach me about a hard day's work and to earn what I get rather than have it handed to me. She would teach me about the world and how dangerous it can be. She would teach me the ways of good conversation and how to be myself instead of smiling and agreeing with whatever someone else says...but to opinionate myself in a manner that is acceptable. She would show me the most simple yet most beautiful things in life like taking me to the beach and collecting seashells with me as a kid. I think a good mom would teach all these things - things that a lot of people today lack but the world needs more of.
