It depends on their behaviour, if it's violent and so there's only one port of call and that's the police. If it's just plain ignorant behaviour, tackle it was being 'nice' it'll probably annoy them more than they do you.

If you know you have done nothing wrong then you can walk around with a clear concience. If they want to waste their time hating you, let them. Don't let it steal your joy though. I always say the opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference. Some people are just not happy unless they have something to be ticked off about.

I know how that is.
I suppose unless you get her to sit down and discuss it rationally she'll continue to behave illogically.
Good luck! :)

no, they are not harmful to anyone, but just total wrong, and won't listen to reason...(she thinks I did something to her) I had nothing to do with it.

Well I don't know about that...But I have to say, that our kids still hang out together, so I do have to becarefull on what I do....They are always asking the kids questions about Mom (me) or things here at my house....That really bugs the crap out of me...She is not ADULT enough to come to me and say anything to me face to face, I guess she is a little worried that I may do something to her....We have had many arguments about her bringing the kids into this, and she just doen't get it...I don't know what else to say

I would try to make them jealous. Or just ignore them. This would make them crazy.

Yeah, I have done that too, and they don't like it, but you can only do that so much when you have little kids...Plus that is getting old, don't get me wrong, I totally love music, but I think it is time for a change..

It's hard to say, I don't really socialize with our neighbors much, we're cordial and wave when we see them, and talk a little if they're out, but we don't hang out....All our kids play with each other and we've really not had any issues...What do mean by nasty? Are they rude to you? I think most of the women hang out with each other, but that's because they're stay at home moms, I work so I don't really do the "Wisteria Lane" thing, you know from Desperate Housewives? Ha, well, good luck, sorry I couldn't help...

Yeah that is cute, "Wisteria Lane" I like that!
Well these people have kids that are grown, they are 18 and older...Well I should say they are grown..But anyway these people always have sometime to say to us or about us, they aren't very friendly...There are many neighbors that don't like them, so we aren't the first...But come on, your that close to me and all they can do when you sit in your own backyard, is to listen to them say, "Take down that Flag, its not needed" "Did you forget where you live" that kinda crap, but you can only take that so long...We have had many arguments over it, and I do have to say, that I have my name for a reason...But I am not always willing to show that side of me...Does that make any sense? Hope so

Complain, complain, complain ... thre's nothing else to do really. In the end your landlord ought to throw them out.

No way, I am not moving because of them, they can learn to deal with us living here, and hopefully they will get annoyed enough to move on their own

I haven't had this problem, maybe because I am so straight forward it throws people off. My first response would be to go to them and ask if they have a problem with me. But you can also consider it like this. You may just have imature neighbors in that they are jealous of your household and just like elementary girls hit the boys they like, some adults just irritate the peple they envy. So take their actions as a complement. Just think of the way I do. If someone spends that much time trying to find out bout u, they r either the feds or you r so important to them that thats all they can think about.

NO, Nice is not what I can do, I guess that I just have to wait it out! What and see what happens next..they are now making things worse by spreding rumors about my kids...
These are just a bunch or childish people and don't know how to live their life without drama in it...
