Why are there so many Eminem fanboys in myLot? Eminem is sick as a rapper but he isn't the illest. Juice defeated him in a battle with a barrage of punchlines you wouldn't imagine exists, while Eminem came short with some obviously written rhymes. Tupac and Common can rhyme deeper sht. manChild of MarsIll can come up with some really enlightening metaphors (and he didn't swear a bit). And Nas can outdo them all lyrically, just so happened that most non-ghetto kid don't understand where he is coming from. Jay-z can records without writing down a song plus he is a CEO.
All I'm saying is, know the GAME first before knowing the PLAYERS. To answer the question, all the rappers mentioned above are my favorites in their respective categories.

I agree. Eminem is a good lyricist. He uses multisyllabic rhyming

50 Cent wouldn't have gotten by if it wasnt for Em and Dre. They did the same think that Dre did for Em. Personally, I think that Dre's rhymes are old school and the bases of rap much like Busta Rhymes. I persoanlly like Em cuz he is catchy and he's racin, he's pacin, he stands and he sits, but he can't take a $h!t in the bathroom without someone standing by it!

I like Eminem because he is,by far & hands down, the greatest rapper, lyricist of this generation. His songs do make an impact on your minds. My outlook towards many things changed ever since i started to literally "Listen" to Eminem's songs. Besides, songs like "Mocking Bird" or "When I'm Gone" really gives an insight into the rapper's life & the tough times he had. But then i still don't agree to his habit of cribbing in public about how his mom was a bit*h, because such matters are really too personal to be revealed in public, let alone makin a record about it for people to hear everyday....Though i have to admit that his songs " Cleanin out my Closet" (In which he bashes up him Mom) and "Kim" ( Where he Murders Kim, his Ex-Wife) are proof to his lyrical genius.

Game is taking over. He is too sick. Nobody is gunna drop and album for a while that can be compared to Doctor's Advocate. Although G-Unit does have a few nice tracks
