Since when did you root for Alaska Aces?

I started to cheer for Alaska when Isabelo "Jojo" Lastimosa transfer from Purefoods to Alaska. Maybe that was year 1991. And since then I always watch games played by Alaska team. I just stop watching them when I left for Japan. Now, though Jolas is no longer playing for Alaska Aces but still he is part of the coaching staffs (assistant coach), I am still very eager to see them play. I wish them to win a grandslam once again.

The first time I watched PBA, the only team I cheered for is Alaska. Up until now, I haven't changed to other teams. I'm a loyal fan. Yeah! hope they get to win a grandslam for the second time.

It is nice to hear that there are alaska aces followers here. I am also a fan when the original ones and alaska grabbed their grandslam. I am a fan of the old players who are now traded to other teams but even if that happened I still go for the team. New players come and go but I still believe in the coaching of Tim Cone. I seldom watch basketball now but I read newspapers for the recent updates. I hope Alaska Aces will grab another grand slam. Go Aces! Fight!

Its a great thing to know that we share the same reason why we cheer for alaska aces. Believe it or not I also started to root for Alaska when Jojo Lastimosa was traded for this team. Jojo is my first ever favorite basketball player. Since then, I was always watching basketball and really became Alaska fanatic. Until now I still cheer for them although most of the players i grew up cheering for are not already in the team, i remain loyal to Alaska. I am always in awe upon remembering the good old days when they dominated the league and Im hoping next season or so they will win the championship trophy again. Go alaska fight fight fight!
