Will u call lying as sin commited or not?

lying is sin...we all know that. i was wondering if ull always call it as having committed sin if: a little boy takes 2 extra cookies than that alloted to him by his mother n denies it infear of reprimand that he might have to face... a boy gives the money he was given to bring home milk to the poor hungry little kid across the street and lies to his mother that he lost it on tha way. a dad congratulates his little daughter for the burnt cookies she made him so lovingly n says they r wonderful n better than any he had ever had before... a son tells his old mother that she is alright wen actually a recent medical checkup has just revealed that she is terminally ill with cancer...
