I was first diagnosed having a nervous stomach back when I was about 17 years old. These days I guess now they call it IBS. I felt quite out of sort and embarrassed about suffering from this condition being a male. Most times when people talked ab out this or ads I saw it mostly mentioned women and so I tried going about my days keeping it a secret.
I found a website that had posts from people that suffer from IBS and was releived to know that I was not the only male who suffered from this. I have also met other guys around where I live who also suffer from it. I tend to suffer more from IBC as opposed to IBD or IBA.
I've had days where I was at work and had to come back home because of the pain and that sick feeling. Has anyone else ever got to the point where their lives were affected by it to where you felt little enjoyment in your everyday life?

There are a lot of people out there with this diagnosis. It can definitely effect your lifestyle. Hopefully you can find a way to predict the happenings to your eating habits and figure out what to do. I do know a lot of people that suffer it and it can be hard to deal with.
