Raising your hand on your child

Is it correct to beat your child. Many say that u spoil a child if u dont raise ur hand while many feal u make the child more stubborn by beating. I personally feel rasing ur hand in moderation is the right way. Your views pls.......

I dont think it is right to beat your child. But a smack on the butt now and then doesnt hurt. I use to get beat and it is frighting.

well a long time ago it was fine to raise your hand to a child.But now if you do so they can get you for child abuse.Tray talking to the child or putting the child in a naughty chair. That seems to help.

yes this is right, children get stubborn when they get hit by their parents, My father never lays his hand on anyone. ANd all of us, i mean my brothers and sisters have been very disciplined
