Will Skype go down?

The new standard for internet communication (voip) is called SIP. Since Skype isn't compatible with this standard, do you think it will "go down" since Skype's protocols aren't supported by gigants like Nokia, Motorola and Ericsson? New companies like Fabonet (www.fabonet.com) are offering sip-based services which also are available from mobile phones. Do you think Skype will loose because they don't support mobile phones very well?
