Do you believe another 9-11 will happen?

Simple answer. No. Not because Homeland Security have any relevance at all. More because there is no real terrorism threat at this stage. Yes, there is a major insurgency in Afghanistan, and Iraq, but as for terrorism, it's all in the mind of the fearmongers. If you are not sure, just follow the money. Who's getting tax breaks in a time of National emergency? Who's making highest ever profits? Who's getting the biggest ever contracts for construction? (Construction that comes with guarantees that no American company can be prosecuted for non-fulfilment of said contracts!!) At home, what large budget scams..er contracts have been awarded in the last five years under special powers, that have been for the benefit of the American people? .... Er...Have any of the special grand projects delivered anything, other than a huge taxpayer bill, less freedom and more paranoia? I think the American people, and us in the UK, have been the victims of a huge campaign of falsehood and criminality beyond the imagination of most patriots. Remember 9/11 could never have happened, without an extraordinary number of lapses in security, responsibility and very wild coincidences.

I think that the new "homeland security" that this country has is a joke unless they are going to protect us from our own government. :(

Terrorists have been around for decades, you can control them but you can't completely stop them. At least this time, we're making an effort to prevent it so it'll be a little more difficult.

I never thought the first one, would have happened. It turned my world around and most likely brought me down to earth with the other 80% of the planet that has been attacked on their own land. Now I feel it will happen again. Looking at my country, US, I see all sorts of weak spots we could take a hitting to. We have a long way to go before I can even begin to think we are a secure nation again. Great question!

Yes I think we will have some kind of terrorist attack within the next couple of years and I think the U.S. Government will be behind it, I think Busch will make something happen in order to inact martial law so that he can remain president as long as possible
