This is a State Park located on the island of Blennerhassett which is a small island in the Ohio River, located in Wood County, West Virginia. It was once home to a Palladain mansion owned by Harman Blennerhassett. Who is said to be a cohort in some allegied intrigues of Aaron Burr. The original mansion burned to the ground, however an exact replica was built on its foundation and can be toured.

I love to visit sites of other National Parks. I am not really very far from West Virginia either. Thank you for sharing this and I think I will join this group and share a few places I would like to see. I hope there are more on the group!
