First,You have to decide which brance of service you want to join. If you live in the U.S., my advise is join the Marines. You have to be physically, mentally, and spiritually fit. Second, go to your nearest recruiter or go online to contact one. They will point you in the right direction and take you to take the ASVAB test. This test gives the military an idea what jobs are available based on your learned abilities. The most easy thig is last- raise your right hand and make the commitment. I have been a Marine for over ten years now. I will never regret my decision.

If you are old enough I see know reason not to join if it is what you want to do. I think it a very noble profession myself. Good luck to you.
