SOUPS - Instant or home made ?

I make fabulous homemade soup about once a week. I learned from my mother (who was a wonderful cook) how to start out with beef or chicken broth and just start throwing stuff in the pot until it tastes good. I think it is a great way to clean out the refrigerator! I actually save scraps of meat(like the last piece of chicken or the other half of a hamburger I divided for the baby)in a ziplock freezer bag, in my freezer. When I have a bag of miscellaneous meat scraps it is time to make a pot of stew. Just throw in an onion, a few potatoes(or the last 7-8 tater tots from dinner last night)whatever leftover veggies I have, add some spices and dinner is served! My family loves it and it never tastes the same twice!

I love homemaid they are the best. To be honest Ive never maid homemaid soup. Everyone says its so easy. So one of these days I will give it a shot. And let you know how it turned out.

I love homemade soups and they are one of the few things that I make well! I just copied a recipe off of another post for tomato soup that sounds really good. I plan to make that today or tomorrow. I make chicken vegetable, chicken noodle, chicken rice, beef noodle, beef vegetable, beef barley, split pea, navy bean, cuban black bean, and turkey noodle soup, and chili often. Whenever I make soup, I make a big pot and freeze the leftovers in single serving sizes so that I can pop one in the microwave for a quick meal. I don't eat canned soup, really, but I keep cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, and cream of celery soups here for use in recipes.

home made are the best

I like instant soups but sometimes i also have home made soups. During winters i usually have soups home made but still i prefer instant soups. May be my taste is friendly with such soups.

I prefer homemade, but I will use can for base of other meals or soups. I like adding cheese and peppers to cream of mushroom soup its really good its easy to make and delicious.Try it hope you enjoy

If ever I am in a hurry I would prefer eating instant soups which can be bought in any stores. But I still prefer home made soups because it is more healthy and it's your own flavor of choice and sometimes no preservatives and you are sure that is healthy because you are the one who cooked it.

Only homemade for me, except when it comes to Campbell's Tomato, nobody can do it better

yeah home made would be great, but if you not have time for make it then just use the instant one ( save much of your time)

Without a doubt home made is the best. My favorite soup is turkey so I love this time of year because I get to make it Thanksgiving, Christmas and Newyears. I also like to make Beef Barley. I usually use the crock pot for that one and let it simmer all day. Another favorite is french onion soup. Not to brag but I think mine can rival some resturants.

I love home made soups. my favorite is split pea and ham soup. Yum!! I also love chili on cold days. oh and I love cream mushroom soup over toast. My kids love it also!

I prefer Soups of Instant made as I can't prepare soups at home. I like Tomato Soup, Mushroom soup and Hot soar soup.

always home made is the BEST. because it is being prepared keeping in min the consumer and the taste of the consumer and also very imporatantly WITH LOVE AND AFFECTION . of course at some times the instant items seems to be the best because , of the situation . hope u understand what i mean to say if not mail me i will explain

Homemade soups are the best. I always make vegetable soup, and chicken corn noodle. They are good!

Ooooh I love soup :-) I will definitely eat the instant when I don't have time to cook, but if I do, there' snothing like homemade soup. Especially on a rainy day :-) My grandmother used to make some really great soups, and I am Puerto Rican so our soups are more like stews... with noodles, potatoes, carrots, chicken... mmmmm... I miss that so much, she made the best soup! I also love rice and seafood stews, Puerto Rican style with like shrimp, lots of cilantro and spices and cooked in a tomato broth. I am hungry now LOL

i don't eat soup but i think that is much better to make it in home because the instant soup contains to much chemicals and can make you feel bad
