Well I dont get angry too often. I am a patient guy. But when I get angry then for sure all hell breaks lose. The best thing that I have seen to control my anger is to breath in and out and count from 1 to 10 and then backwards. By the time I am done with the routine my anger decreases quite alot and I am composed once more. Meditation does help because in meditation you tell your self to behave in a certain manner and then given the situation you unconsciously act out what ever you have programmed yourself to do.

I'll say.. if you are short tempered, then you must do meditation..
It helps you to realize the aner and you can control it.. as you'll be above the situation and i a better position to justify your anger. You'll be angry if it is really necessary...

meditation helps but not at the point you are angry. practicing meditation everyday does help in curbing it to some extent. I suggest you get into some task which involve you to use a lot of force like dusting the house, digging the garden so this way you channelize the negative force to complete your daily chores.

Well i don't normally get angry and when someone does iannoy me i try to pass it as a joke. When it gets really bad then i seclude myself from all for sometime and when it cools down, i am back to normal again. Life is short and there is not time to be wasted by getting angry on others.

I take a walk and get some air it helps me a lot.
