Can anyone give me their opinionns on switching to satalite internet over dialup? I've heard some good and some bad things about it.

If you have problems with weather you may stay connected thru dial-up.:) Because if is bad weather and it rains too much.. your connection may not be available. and you must have a lot of space to put that antena.

i guess the satellite internet is a costly alternative to dial-up and broadband. i have even heard that the speeds are not as good as broadband
