Dogs guard and Cats Meow!

The other day I actually saw a woman walking her cat! What is hell! i thought to myself. Here I am with my puppy, 2 year old mini schnauzer, and I feel safer with her on my leash than a cat. What animal makes you feel safe at home and on the street?
