Can depression feld down with the age?

My todyas question is to know if the age influence the deasise process?I ask it cause so many time i hear people asking why they fall easly in depression when they are about 35-40 years old.I dont know if is true,but i need some mind!Suggestions!

Well coming from someone who suffers from depression I can tell you that it has been my experience that the illness gets worse with age. I was diagnosed at the age of 16 and still have it now at the age of 21...it has only gotten worse for me. This may not be the case for all people though, I would imagine that it varies from person to person.

Thanks alot for lighting!Because that question follow me since,and now i can have some ideas about the relation whith the progress of deasise and age.I'm also agree with u when u say is better to get others opinion before makin any conclusion.

Well, sometimes its unavoidable that we feel depressed for the day..but for the health its not a good side, i believe in Meditation which will balance our mind and helps to be normal at situations
