I hear a lot of people say that Walmart is evil, and Target is Good... Stuff like this What do you think? I don't think any one retailer is morally worse than any other. What have you heard, what do you think?

To be upfront let me say that I own stock in Wal-Mart. OK, big box retailers have a place in society. Wal-Mart is one of the last company's a person without a college education can become a store manager and make six figures. Wal-Mart has also been in favor and pushing for raising the minimum wage. Mom and Pop businesses were on the way out long before Wal-Mart came along.

I would have to agree about mom and pop buisnesses, and also expand on this by saying that walmart treats its employees a lot better than most mom and pop places ever did, some small buisnesses grow to believe they can do what they want and thusly treat people and even their customers unwell in many instances. Where as big buisnesses are forced to follow the rules of the game. Thanks for your addition to the conversation!
