I keep hearing about people who make money on eBay?

I sell on ebay. I do it to sell items I have that I no longer need, and if I can make a few bucks, that's fine. I don't do it for a steady income, but to make a bit of money off things I no longer need that are still in good working condition. Before you sell, you need to search for the item you ARE selling and see what the going price is. If there are 100 listings just like yours, and they are selling for $1.00. Don't waste your time. If there are 5 listings like yours and people are fighting to get their hands on it, sell, by all means. Collectibles sell well if it is an item that is rare. Brand name clothes in GOOD condition sell well, and other brand name items. But you have to do some research to see if it is even worth listing. Always include at least one picture and a VERY thorough description. people want to know what they are buying, and they want to see it.

I sell on eBay for a living. I am able to pay my bills and put a little back each month for myself. Its not simple and requires long hard days of work actullay. I work 7 days a week usually around 10-12 hours and sometimes more. I run a one man show and do all the work.

yeah, i dont really think ebay is a good place to make alot of money easily people sell crap on their so less people are going to buy ebooks and guides of ebay so i cant how they cant be making loads from this anymore

My neighbor goes to auctions and buys many things by the boxful at a very low price. He then goes through the boxes and sells anything worthwhile on eBay. He also buys computers that no longer run and fixes them to sell on eBay. After he has fixed them, he can make a nice profit for them.
