I have a beautiful dog. An American Eskimo. He is very loving, sweet, and protective. We cannot touch each other. It's like he's jealous. He'll come between you even if we are just hugging. He even growls. So we go in the other room and close the door.Sometimes we do it to torture him.Once I was giving my daughter a massage because she was stuffed up and he pee'd on me. He just feels he needs to be included in everything. Its like he's part human.Any suggestions?

I have an American Eskimo also. She will be 4 in July and when I am hugging my niece of nephew she stands on her hine legs and either barks or scratchs at my back. I have tried to include her in the hug but it is true, Eskimos demand so much attention and mine is so hyper. If I role over in the middle of the night she is up and ready to play. Good Luck with your Eskimo and if you find a solution please pass it on.

Well snowball does not like to be disturbed when hes asleep.Hell get up and find somewhere else to sleep.I try to ditract him. That seems to work sometimes. Like when someone comes in I tell him to get a toy. He thinks everyone is there to see him. I know hes special but I don't know does everyone else???
