How long can you hear other peoples talking about their children?

Of course, it usually is a blessing to have children. I have two and I'm very proud of both, but I couldn't in my wildest dreams imagine that I would make this the main subject when I meet other peoples.
Some doesn't have anything else to talk about. How long can you listen to it before you get tired?

If u are seeing a couple with a new baby for first time, I would expect to hear all the labor and baby details. But what irks me is when u talk to parents with kids the same age as yours and the go on and on like their kids are going to find a cure for cancer, it bothers me!
