Can I re-start my previous discussions ?

Many of my discussions have received no responses at all . But I feel some of them are much more useful compared to some discussions (of some other members)which have drawn good number of low quality( yes/no type or one liner )responses . This applies to some other members' case also . I though of starting such discussions of mine anew . But , mylot rules will stand in the way . What can I do ? What is your advice ?
