When you feel down, food can sometimes lift you up. What are the comfort foods you eat to get going again?

A nice bowl of pasta with a good sauce,oh and my grandmas chicken soup.

Yeah this is very good. A good italian sauce or carbonara would be very fine.

I like a good cup of coffee... not only does it pep you back up physically, it can be comforting as well! Also, now that I am out of my parents' house the one thing I miss the most is mom's cooking. I always appreciate a good home-cooked meal, no matter what it is!

my comfort food is always chocolate..i can eat chocolate for an occaision but especially comfort..

Most people get a kick out of chocolate. Maybe there's something in it that makes us happy besides sugar, I mean.

Mmmm, ice cream and I just had some :) Usually it's chocolate. If I've had a really bad day at work, and I have to stop at the store on my way home, I'll grab a candy bar at the check out. I know it's not good for me, but sometimes you just "need" it! lol!

I know what you mean. Sometimes I just can't resist eating Skittles! Don't know why but they really give me a good feeling.LOL. Isn't it weird?
