Dress code in College

I don't really think that colleges should have dress codes. By the time you are in college you are considered an adult and should therefore be given the responsibilities and privileges that come with adulthood. Of course there are always people who will abuse these privileges, but that is life. There is are two colleges within about an hour's drive from mine, who not only have dress codes, but also curfews and other such silly rules. Ridiculous! Your college faculty and staff are paid for various things, none of which are to be your parents and tell you what to wear. College should be a transition into the real world, not an extension of childhood.
