If you start a discussion and people answer to your subject, does that earn you money? Also if you respond to responses within your started discussion, do you earn money for that? Thanks ahead of time for clarification that you may provide.

You earn for people responding to your discussion, but not for responding to the responses. However, it is a good idea to respond to the responses because it will put your discussion into the recent discussions section and people will respond more.
