Do you like his songs from Matchbox Twenty better or his songs without them? I love his songs with Matchbox Twenty but I think my favorite song of his is "Lonely No More".

His solo stuff is okay but I think he should have made the record with his band and not as a solo artist, I can't stand it when lead singers go solo.

It is a little hard to distinguish the songs from MB20 and Robs solo album in asking which ones are liked better because Rob is and always has been the primary song writer for MB20. Only on the More Than You Think You Are CD did any of the other guys contribute to the writing. As for Yourself Or Someone Like You and Mad Season Rob did all the writing.

I'll admit that the first time I saw the video for "Lonely No More", I thought to myself, 'Why the hell is he trying to be like Ricky Martin?'. But then I heard the album and fell in love with it. I've even gone to see his solo concerts three times. I wish MB20 would get back on the ball, though.

I have noticed how his songs with Matchbox were young and jaded. Now as he has gotten older, cut his hair and dressed a bit better his songs are deeper about relationships. His sound is always good and my favorite came with him being with Santana. That was great!!
