Do you prefer to use pure flash in a website? I've been thinking lately... there's a much difference when you use pure flash than just html for a website.. it attracts more attention to users coz of animation.. to you guys... which do you prefer to use?

I prefer html. I think some flash sites are cool but I personally like it simple. I don't know....My computer is anti flash anyway lol. Lately most flash stuff wont work very good for me. And I do have the latest version and a good connection.

lols nice one.. it does sux when your loading a flash site with a slow connection. Im just giving a though of using it coz most sites are really into it. and there's really a big difference.

It can definitely look more visually appealing but you also need to take into account the market you are showcasing to. Those people with slower computers and slower connectionswill have to wait for flash to load and may get frustrated with this and not hang around. Also you would assume that most computers would have an updated flash player but you would be surprised how many don't! From experience I have always found that a mix of both is genrally a safe bet, don't rely too much on just one format or the other.....

In my opinion, to get more hits, too much flash should not be used. FLASH lloks very good, but again target market should be identified.
