Do you just watch movies or collect DVDs VHS and Divx CDs?

I don't have to collect them because my husband and eldest son collects so many DVDs between them that we'll never get to watch them all :)) We haven't rented a DVD for the last two years! We do however go to the movies to see the new releases and decide whather we want to tbuy the movie when it comes out.

I got my first VCR back in 1995. Since then I have hundrds of VHS tapes full of my favorite films. In 2000 I finally got a DVR only because I found a movie I had been waiting to see but it was on DVD and not on VHS. Now I have some DVDs but not as many as VHSs, well not yet.

No I do not collect these. I do own some but that is because I thought they were worth seeing again someday. Everytime I start collecting anything they change the format and then I have a lot of wasted stuff. So, now I only buy those I know I will watch time and again. I mostly rent the movies, seldom go to the theater.

I love to collect DVD's but I only buy ones I know I will watch over and over again. I have friends that buy every new DVD that comes out without ever seeing the movies first. That I cannot do. To me that's just a waste of money. If I am going to spend it's going to be on something I know I will enjoy.

I actually have more VHS tapes then DVDs, though alot of them are movies I recorded from tv, especially when we had HBO. I don't buy too many DVDs, I mostly rent.

i lov going to the movies and i love renting movies, we have a big collection of vhs and dvds. they range from disny cartoons, family horror action chickgflicks,if we see a movie we likewe will go out and buy it ifwe rent a movie we like we will buy it same for my daughter we buy healmost every new kid movie thatcomes out just so thta she has it incase she wants it

Of course I like to collect them, mainly in xvid in cds but I also have some DVD movies and when I'm almost sure the movie will be good I go watch it on cinema.

We've got over 1000 DVDs at this point. We both rent and buy them.

Man if you were able to see behind me, this is what you'd see: 5 shelf units full of vhs/dvds. There must be close to 1000 dvds/vhs items in this room. Not to mention the video drawers that my computer stuff sits on. There are 400 vhs tapes sitting drectly in front of me. Go out to my living room and you'll find a six foot long entertainment stand with close to, if not more than 100 dvds on it. Plus there's a bookcase with 2 shelves containing about 50 vhs tapes. Upstairs in the spare room, there's a box with about 50 more vhs tapes. Collet, no. Hoard, yes.

I collect DVDs and CDs, I have over 500 movies, also i download from internet.

i usually buy DVD's of movies like Harry potter, Action films like MI2, Bollywood movies like Shahrukh Khan's Movies and other i like... i also rent movies and watch them in theatres

I like to watch films either on the internet, or by downloading, or by seeing them on the television. If I like them, I'll then buy them. I don't have a massive film collection, because I only buy the films I know I like, and will want to watch again.

My hubby like to buy cds as well and thats going to add up to his collections also. I think its much cheaper here just to buy cds rather than going to the cinema everytime, with cds you can watch it again and again when you want it.

I watch movies a lot. But I always buy only those movies which I enjoy most and want to watch several times.

i like watching movies and if i like the film i will defnitely collect the movie and keep it in my movie collections.

i download movies from net .i don,t like to collect movies just like to watch .

I see them mainly after downloading from internet, that's usually in divx format....
