I'd like to give you the other side of the story. I am a married man and I have had a love affair with a married woman (who obviously wasn't my wife!). The love was so strong that neither of us even felt that it was cheating on our respective partner. The relationship ended for many reasons too long and too complex to explain here, but the love remains. She has a husband (who's treating her like dirt), but I'm her man. I have a wife (who's covering me with love), but I know she's the woman of my life.
Many here will argue that it was wrong, but what can you do when you feel -- when you know! -- that you've found your missing half? Love is such a beautiful feeling, but so painful too.

I have had that happen and although it is mildly flattering, it always makes me angry. First of all, he made a promise to be faithful to his wife. If he wants to be a cheater, then that is his business, but shame on him for trying to tempt someone else to break their vows. I would never go into a relationship with a married man because if he would be willing to cheat on his wife, he would certainly be willing to cheat on his mistress.

I feel that way sometimes, most the time I find myself uneasy about it... Weird how it works. It is still flattering sometimes to know that I can still have some kind of effect on others. =-) Thanks for your response.
