Bryce Courtney is one of my favourite writers. How that man can put so much to paper is amazing to me. He is not mushy. I feel like I'm in there with the character/s.Once I start reading the book I just can't put it down. Is this the same for everyone else?

A fantastic book. I read it as a child and the again a few years ago.
One of those books that you never forget. Maybe because as a child we stayed for a few years in Baberton - that made me relate closer to the characters.
A must read for everyone.
If you enjoyed this - did you read any Wilbur Smith?
