My husband is from Argentina and he has been here in the USA
for years now and he wants me to go to Argentina with him next year but the only thing that scares me is flying, never been on a plane and I am scared to death of heights! Thinking about moving there too! Any suggestions on flying?

Once you get on the plane, dont look through the window! Pray if you have a religion, or try to sleep. Also it's really helpful to have something to read. Specially if it's about the place you're going to visit. Im from Argentina and I can asure you it's really beautiful. Anyway, what part of Argentina is your husband from?

Just try to relax and keep reminding yourself that flying is safer than everyday driving. I would typically suggest looking out the window and admiring the view from 35,000 feet up but seeing that you're afraid of heights, try booking an isle seat. Also, try reading a book, watching the in flight movie, etc. to keep your mind off of it. Some people even go as far as taking a sleeping pill.

I believe that all US passports have the same fee. They cost $97 which includes a $30 processing fee. It takes 4-6 weeks to receive it once applying at any main US passport agency or post office. An expedited service is available and I think it is an additional $50.

You should go as it is a wonderful country and more than worth to be visited. And if you cannot get over your fear of flying - consider going by water :) Or take qa calming therapy, fearless flying kind of thing that might ease you just enough so that you will be able to get on the airplaine to Argentina. You should definitely go and dance on tango music in the arms of your husband while there ;)
