Why do some people cry after seeing Movies?

When i go to theaters and all i 'Ve seen people cryin by seeing some scenes... and mostly they are Girls and old people ...
After all we all know that its Only MOvie and not real .. den also ? Y ?? ???

I cry at anything, if the main characters get hurt, I sob. I have been known to cry at adverts and nature programmes. I just like to forget about real life and get so involved with what I am watching that I get emotionally involved, I know it is silly but hey I'm a girl and a mum so I'm allowed, it's not like I'm hurting anyone and I don't mind if peope laugh at me.
