Humayun Tomb, New Dehil - New Delhi was laid out to the south of the Old City which was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. However, New Delhi overlays the site of seven ancient cities and hence includes many historic monuments like the Jantar Mantar and the Humayun's Tomb.
From 1772 to 1911, Calcutta was the capital city of British India. Delhi had served as the political and financial centre of several empires of ancient India, most notably of the Mughal Empire. Delhi was located in central India and the Government of British India felt that it would be easier to administer India from Delhi rather than from Calcutta. Owing to its historic and cultural importance, George V, the then Emperor of India, made the announcement the capital of the Raj was to be shifted from Calcutta to Delhi. Its natural to love Capital city of India as a Indian. But I love Jaipur.

Jaipur street - During the British Raj, Jaipur was the capital of a Princely state of the same name. Jaipur state, which existed from the twelfth century until Indian Independence in 1947, took its name from the city. This city also familiarly known in James Bond movie "octopussy".
The world famous pink city is my favourite. Further Hawa Mahal and other buildings of noteworthy recordings. Jaipur, with its rich and colourful past, resplendent with tales of valour and bravery is now one of the most important heritage cities in India, and is a must-see for tourists coming to India. The city was built of pink stucco in imitation of sandstone, and is remarkable among pre-modern Indian cities for the width and regularity of its streets. As Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan state, it is fully equipped with all infrastructural facilities.
