What is your name and what does it mean. I am trying to get a list in place for different names with their meanings. I just think it would be a good gift to any friend who is about to have a baby. Please also specify the language that you name is of and please give meanings of your names in English. Also specify it is a girl's name or a boys name. Thanks in advance and Happy New Year

My name is Brian, sorry but I don't think very many American names mean anything... My roomates name is Ferrari (boy), and his dad named him that because he always wanted to say he had the car, and when he named his son he will always have one!

Well my name is Vishesh (Boy) it means special or unique.....but then it isn't an English name.
A name i really like is Raphaella. I read it in a perfect stranger by Danielle steel. I have no idea what it means...

Jonah -- biblical name but it means "dove"
Quinn -- loosly meand "five"
Niall -- Irish/Celtic origin name that means "champion"
If we had ever had a daughter we would have given her the name Zoe. It is of Greek origin and means "life"
