Do you find credit cards to be convenient or burden?

There are lots of agents out there seems like they're begging you to avial their credit cards equiped with all the promises but after having it is it really advisable to have one? I don't have one though.... because I'm still living in primitive lifestyle..lol. but I hear lots of negative response from my friends and relatives about credit card issues.
What can you say about it? May I have your opinion?

You need to shop around to see which deal is the best!
Some credit card companies offer various incentives for you to sign up with them.
For example:-
Balance Transfers with Zero Per Cent interest. Some of these deals are OK if you want to transfer some of your debt from one card to another
