how do u name your child..??

On both my side and my husband's side of the family, the children and grandchildren have at least one of their names from other family members. We didn't want this because we thought our child should have his own name plus the names of the family didn't appeal to us to give to our own child. Then we went through all the names we liked and crossed out the ones that had already been taken by family and friends. Eventually we were left with 4 for a girl and 2 for a boy and those were what we called our son.
