Toilet Paper

I reckon women use a whole lot more toilet paper than men, though I've heard alot of women complaining about the amount men use. The fact is women use toilet paper for number 1's and number 2's and since numer 2's are on average once a day for most of the population both men and women, it makes sense that women use more. What do you think???

Oh lord, Please don't hate me since I disagree.. I am sorry but in my household at least it is the man who uses more then me. And I proved it.lol we have 2 bathrooms and we supply paper to both and we buy atleast 40 or more rolls of paper a month and everyone says that is to much that nobody else they know uses that much in a months time for just 2 people. Well I set up a test where we were only to use the batroom that we picked to use and in a few says I still was using my toilet paper roll and my husband who works most days used a roll a day if not a little more. And I stay at home all day. I know this is weird and everyone jokes that when he wipes it must be enough to wash and wax a limo but it's the truth he uses way more then me.

I have also set up a test while the woman I live with is away for a month. In a month I have used a total of 3 toilet rolls, as aposed to the 1 toilet roll a day that we normally use. I have saved alot of money not buying a whole lot of loo paper. This to me proves that it's women and not men that use more toilet paper. There is a hygenic rule used in nursin that says you should have at least 13 sheets of paper between your hand and your bum while you wipe. Maybe your hubby has heard of this, lol.

This is very interesting morfessa and actually I cannot tell you the answer, but I suppose that households are all different in their usage of toilet paper. LOL A couple of years ago close friends of ours had some young relatives staying with them for a protracted amount of time due to a family situation. Our friend was often going mad about the amount of toilet paper being used and nobody could understand it. However when visiting our friends one day I noticed their nephew getting toilet paper - he had left the door open. Anyway after he came out I spoke to him about what he was doing with that much toilet paper. His sister piped up saying "oh he always wraps it all around his hand because that way he won't get any poo on him". So that explained the substantial amount of toilet paper used. Do I do that? No I don't but that might be a male thing, which would account for why some men actually use as much or more toilet paper than women do. :)
