Certainly. My daughter had a cat named Tabbitha that she rescued from going to the shelter, and that cat just loved her. She got used to being an outside cat, and even after months of being an outside cat, she never once scratced her. Or her younger sister, who pulled the cats ears and tossed her around. That cat was the sweetest thing ever.
