Debit Cards Vs. Credit Cards..Which Is Better?

I feel debit cards are better, in that you can't overspend and accrue astronomical interest charges. If you have the money in the bank and are good at budgeting it, then a debit card should suffice. If you want to pay 16% or more in interest charges, and run up a debt that will have you paying forever, then a credit card is for you, but personally, I would prefer to know what money I have and what I am spending at all times.

i prefer debit because you know exactly how much you have left to spend/ how much you can afford. with a credit card you get a big surprise at the end of the month

Definitely a debit card. It is far more better to spend money that you already have. If you use credit card you will be left with no option but to find a good paying job to pay your debts.

Hey both have there own importance. I have both of them so like both. credit cards are like short term loans so they are equally good.

I don't believe in Credit Cards at all... I think it's just a way to land yourself in debt... always is a temptation to buy stuff that you can't afford and then you have to find ways to repay it and can't... accordign to me, it's better to save money to buy something rather than to buy on credit.
