Yesterday i had my first experience at an imax cinema. I had buy one get one free tickets and thought why not. We saw the only thing that was on Polar Express, which is a typical childrens film about a kid that doesn't believe in santa but by the end does. The film was enjoyable for what it is was. But the whole Imax 3D experience ended up making me feel a bit sick! before the film started there was an annocment saying that you might feel a floating sensation if you do just close your eyes. I didn't experience this by slowly began to feel more sick, a bit like sea sickness. Has anyone else experienced this at an imax cinema?

Uhh..nope, dont think so. Was going to go to a kind of 'IMAX' cinema, its just that IMAX closed and so its a cheap movie place with extra large seating space and massive screens lol :P Cheaper than a cinema, and better :P and maybe that's why all the movies were about sold out :P lol

Imax is one of those huge screens (21 metres by 15 apperently!) and its 3D (when you put the glasses on anyway) so the film actually appears to be happening right in front of you and not on the screen at all.
