That's really strange! I certainly wouldn't expect ice-cream to work for colds - normally any dairy product increases mucous production, which should make a cold worse. However, of course, ice cream does contain many key nutrients, and maybe your body heals with the help of the nutritional value of ice cream? There could also be a psychological / physical response - I believe strongly that often we respond best physically to things we like.

i dont get use to medicine. I just get myself into rest and take plenty of water. Hmmmm ......but in your case it's very unsual. Its really unbelievable but anyways its your statement and besides people are unique in every way. Maybe your body system is just immune to ice cream.
