why women are too much emotinal?

i know there's some scientific explanation on that something to do with hormones...I'm a girl and even myself at times cldnt understand myself why do i get too sensitive and emotional.I realized though that i tend to be like this when I don't get much attention and affection from my husband, i know he's crazy inlove with me but sometimes I wanted him to do more like care about me more, anything that wld make me feel important and essential in his life.
