i know the moths[insect] are attracted to brightness.if moths are attracted to brightness,how come they sleep during the day?somebody plz. tell me the ans.

There is still debate among scientists on this issue but most believe the moths use the moon as a guide when they migrate. Therefore it is not that they are attracted to the light in your house but think it is the light of the moon and are trying to follow thier migratory path. In other words, when there is a light to distract them from the moon, it throws them off course.
