Tom Hanks is one of my favorites, he moved me into tears in his performance in Cast Away...but I love Johnny Depp in the Pirates of the Caribbean..so funny and so talented!...i have had a crush on him since my childhood! :D so i guess he has to be MY best actor....^_^

u have a very good hoice,very similar to mine though i have not seen pirates of the carribeans but still i have sen him in some movies,i love his acting

As you have not restricted your discussion to the present times, I will take the freedom to select Clint Eastwood. The hero from my childhood days. Anyway he still acts in films. How I loved those movies of yesteryear, "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", "For a few dollars more", and the action movies like "Dirty Harry" and "Magnum Force".
